Whether you know something about art or just know what
you like, Andalucía has reason to be proud of its contribution to
art over the centuries.
The Costa del Sol has encouraged many artists, both new and firmly established, to pursue their
work. As well as expressing their view of life they hope to make a
living in a profession rich in eccentrics as well as money!
It
has to be said that the quality of contemporary Spanish art has
been rising steadily over the last decade; some may disagree, but art is as relevant as an
individual's own taste.
Andalucía boasts many fine art
galleries, especially in Seville and Cádiz.
