Calahonda is a great location to find a decent bar if you're staying in the area and don't want to travel too far out of your way. Like all services in Calahonda the majority of the action takes place in the multi-storey commercial centre, El Zoco. Here you'll find bars that serve drinks and food, but up on the top terrace the most popular bar seems to be Trafalgar's, which is a very large pub that sells everything from beer to fancy cocktails. The atmosphere here is relaxed and the large terraces make it the perfect place to sit and read a book or have a conversation with a new friend. The other place to go in Calahonda is on the Strip, which is the road leading up the hill after the El Zoco complex. On this part of the urbanisation there are several other places which offer restaurants as well as bars. The whole area is very English and prices are also very reasonable.
