Marbella
is renowned for a variety of reasons, from its quality of life to
the beauty and style of its streets and promenades. The bars in Marbella
reflect this city's years of development, from the traditional tapas bars
of its back streets to its sparkling new establishments. Tapas bars
provide an excellent opportunity to sample the local gastronomy and are
spread throughout the town and often look very similar, with wooden tables
and brass barstools. The newer bars can all be found either in the streets
around Plaza de Los Naranjos (Orange Square) or along the port
front. There are about a dozen bars on the back street of the Marina
, most of which are Spanish orientated. Orange Square is a great place to
relax and enjoy a few drinks and a number of small bars can be found
behind its main dining area.
