Despite being a fairly small
white village, Mijas
has a surprisingly large number of places to enjoy a copa. There are
over a dozen bars in the village, the majority of which also double as
restaurants at meal times. Mijas
isn't for pub crawls or long nights out, but is more suitable for people
who, after a walk around the town, feel like an ice-cold beer or jug of sangria
and a long, relaxing sit down. Mijas
is, despite its busy tourist trade, just a lazy little town, so if you're
looking for something more than rustic architecture and San Miguel beer
head for Fuengirola
or Benalmádena.
