    Tapas Bars & Chiringuitos

Tapas bars are part of an Andalusian tradition and can be found in every town, some prominently located on beaches, while others are sited along the long and winding back streets of the old towns.

A tapa is a small plate of food, usually eaten as a snack before a larger meal. They vary from olives to pork kebabs, as well as many other weird and wonderful edibles.

Chiringuitos are bars that are found either on or by the beach and, as well as serving tapas, offer a variety of different meals and fresh fish. The speciality of most beach chiringuitos is barbecued sardines.
