Andalucía - Something for all.
People are all too familiar with the Spanish stereotype: sandy
beaches, a blue and cloudless sky for more than 300 days of the year,
late night parties, fiestas,
bullfights and paella. As the Tourist
Board so rightly says, ' Andalucía - there's only one'.
Andalucía is one of Spain's
self-governing, autonomous regions and is divided into Almeria,
Cádiz,
Córdoba,
Granada, Huelva, Jaen,
Málaga and
Seville . Each name relates
to the capital city of that province. What makes this region so
fascinating is its wonderful weather, variety of terrains and
surprising scenery.

Málaga is a first-rate example of this; on the one hand its south
coast features sandy beaches, access to the Mediterranean and an
enviable average temperature of 22°C throughout the year and, less
than 15 kilometres away, mountain peaks that even in the height of
summer remain cold. The area's microclimates have created many
stunning landscapes from the arid land near Cádiz to snowy mountain
pistes in the region of Granada. In very few places in the world will
you find such a wide range of scenery within such a short distance.
